On Wednesdays...

Effective Wednesday, January 14th, 2014 - Pattaya City Council decided that as from that date, all deck chair and sun lounger concessions run by small, mostly local Thai families here, would no longer be able to operate in and around Pattaya’s beaches that day. Although this means there are no chairs to sit on or umbrellas to sit and shade underneath right outside our entrance that day, it does not mean that access to Dongtan Beach is forbidden nor that Dongtan Beach is closed on Wednesdays. Please be advised guests are still very welcome to borrow a beach towel from our Front Desk and go relax on the beach. One will just not be able to obtain food or drink or enjoy services such as a massage, manicure or pedicure, etc., on the beach just outside Tui’s Place that day. Writing this, of course, you should know that having the gay beach so close to Tui’s Place most certainly does not make us here just a ‘one trick pony’. We welcome our wonderful guests therefore to challenge our local knowledge of the surrounding area - so we may create and provide you with a suitable, personalised alternative to Dongtan Beach, either before or during your stay with us. This is another benefit our guests enjoy staying with us, as Tui’s Place really does truly care that no-one here feels at a loss of what to do. Please do ask us, therefore, should you be in any doubt as; it is always our very great pleasure to serve our guests. Thank you.
